Oh Deer!

I was checking out photos in the local paper and saw that they had a picture of deer that had come into the yard of someone living in Marysville. It was a better picture than the one we got of the deer out behind our house so I used it instead of ours. We used to get deer behind the house all the time but the area has buildt up so much they don't show up so often any more.

Just a thought . . .

Since I made such a big deal about the snow I thought that I should show you some pictures so you would know why we are so happy it's almost gone.

This is where we cleaned a path for Molly to be able to go outside to answer the call of nature without getting buried. Miniature Pinchuers don't have that long of legs.

This is at the street heading up our hill into our neighborhood on the day we could finally drive again.

Poor skid mark got buried!

This is from Whiskey Ridge

This is out the kitchen window.

It's raining, It's pouring!!!

I never thought I would be SOOOO happy to see it rain!!! We've been walking in a winter wonderland for a little over a week now. (Humans have no patience.) We live in the Pacific Northwest for a reason. If we want snow we will go and look for it!!! This week we have had no choice. The snow came to us. And it has been plentiful!!! It was actually quite gorgeous, but enough is enough. We Americans like to be able to drive where ever we want to with no restrictions whatsoever. Mark was having fun though. I had him take me to the store a couple of times and we went to deliver some packages to those he home teaches. We were bombing through the snow and spinning out on purpose to slide into parking spots, etc. I think it reminded him of his college days in K Falls, OR. All I have to say is that I am glad he was driving and I am so thankful for our old van, the Toyota Previa. That All Trak is a life saver. I used it several times, and Josh even took it to work. He liked being able to go all over without too many worries. I must say the best part about snow is the hot cocoa and pajama days!!! YUM!

My Children Made Me Do It!!

I am finally on the web! Danielle decided I needed to start a blog (she'd even typing this right now! haha)! I will officially start blogging soon, but right now I'm rubbing my dog's tummy. I hope you all had a great holiday! We're still snowed in, but hopefully it will start to disappear shortly. The birds are starting to return, so that's a good sign. I'm going to try and navigate around this place, so I will talk to you all soon!!!
